The Boer goat is a breed that was born in South Africa in 1900 and is a butcher goat breed for excellence. The male has a robust, large frame and good height. It's a big, muscular animal, conveys these excellent characteristics to their offspring.
It has a fast growing and easily adapts to different environments. Your daily weight gain is very good, which is achieved by good levels of milk production in mothers; the young goat can reach 15 kilos in about sixty days and six months can obtain animals with an average weight between 35 and 40 kilos. Adult males can weigh between 110 and 135 kilos.
